After joining forces with the Savannah office of SPE in August 2006 we have successfully united the talents of both organizations into one full service office. The acquisition of the Savannah operations has been led by SPE Principals, who will play key roles in the restructured operations;
- James C. Vaughn, Jr., PE, former SPE Regional Manager & Vice President, will serve as President & CEO;
- F. Michael Sikes, PE, former SPE Principal Structural Engineer will be promoted to Senior Vice President, and
- Michael J. McJilton, PE, former SPE President & CEO, will serve as Executive Vice President/CFO based in the Atlanta Office;
- Patrick Chapman, former SPE IT Director will fill the important CTO role.
- S. Mark Boyles, PE, will be Senior Project Manager for site work;
- Patrick L. Burk, PE, will serve as Senior Environmental Project Manager.
This acquisition will position us to grow and create greater opportunities for our staff, resulting in more effective, focused client service and a more diversified scope of engineering services to accommodate your needs.
We have also acquired eGeo Services, the environmental remediation subsidiary from Stevenson & Palmer, and will continue to operate as such under the leadership of Gus R. Thompson, Vice President – Business Development, and Richard B. Smith, PE, Principal Engineer.
